NEW Hash -Tshirts

We have on sale a brand new shirt, this is not your usual run of the mill t-shirt but a very up market Polo shirt with the Grenada Hash House Harriers logo stitched on the front.

Sadly the timing of this new shirt has coincided with Norman Stalkers Funeral and a nice touch would be if those who will be attending were to purchase a shirt to wear at the funeral next Thursday the cost is EC$65. Anyone interested in purchasing a shirt can contact me Softwood here or call 449 1010

HOOLIGAN you will be missed!!

I'm slowly taking in the devastating news of Norman Stalker known to us hashers as Hooligan who passed away earlier today.

We all have fond memories of Hooligan and I challenge anyone to have bad memories. You only had to meet him once to be a friend of this kind and gentle man. He is the reason that G3H is in the fantastic position it enjoys today. He was the first treasurer and held that position for over twenty years. After his retirement he was a great source of information, encouragement and wisdom to his successor. Carib being our main sponsor is down to Hooligan as he was the first to approach Grenada Breweries Ltd them on behalf of G3H.

He came to his last hash just a few short weeks ago and sat under a tree in the shade on the beach at our thank you to Carib hash. He was never short of a Carib and there was always someone stopping to chat. He asked me " Where are all these hashers coming from? When we started we only had a few but we had some great fun. Do you think you can have fun with all these people here Mike?" " Well I don't know but we will give it a go" I replied. Later as the sun was setting I caught his eye he smiled and put his thumb up.

HOOLIGAN R.I.P.
