Whenever the FSBs put a hash on you know there will be an usual happening and more than likely it will spell trouble for some one. Last year we had " Brain Damaged" , as was, lost in the bush till 9pm so yesterday we were very apprehensive. There was no need, although the last ones came in after dark all were accounted for. Which is good news as the effort that was put in by the FSBs was tremendous. The trails were well received by all and the rain that arrived at the perfect time, after everyone left home and before we set off, just made the trails.

Plenty of false trails as you would expect as "Falsie" was the main hare. There was even some false trails that were not planned!! I feel sure the rain had something to do with it. As last week we had confusion on the trails but in areas where getting lost is not life threatening that just adds to the fun. Talking of fun there was plenty of that. First we had a speech in French then the singing of the Marseilles. It was at this point that " Monkey Business" earned his down down for forgetting the words. Shame on you. Then the English tried to spoil the French party by reminding their close neighbours of the love hate relationship they have and some of the glorious defeats by the French in battle with the English. The after party got going when it was confirmed all were safely back. We had a great prize to give away for the best French costume. Le Papillion French Cafe based at the Siesta hotel gave a voucher of EC$60. After a lot of debate by "Falsie" the prize went to "Tarzan" & " Jane" . It was fine really but "Jane" was dressed as a Parisian man with a baguette and "Tarzan" a French maid. It should have been the other way round but I was told " Jane" bottled it. Congratulations and enjoy your great prize. Thanks to the FSBs for a great hash.

Now not to be out done the German community have said " We want to do a hash as well"!!!! So look out for that coming up in October. You better start on your outfit now "Jane".
Next week we are with " Dominatrix" in Windsor Forrest. Looking forward to that one. The hash list is now full through October so if you want to set a hash it will have to be in November. My thanks to all hares who have stepped forward. Without you we can't have hashes. Have a great week and I will see you all next Saturday. ON ON
