I showered, I scrubbed and I showered some more and my legs still have an orange glow to them. Yes that was the first and probably the last contender for Muddiest hash of the year for 2012.
What a way to start the year with two great hashes. When Crisis says he wants to set a hash I go all weak at the knees. Just the thought of people hanging off ropes or walking along cliff edges with shear drops sends a shiver down my spine.
This time was no different but instead of him putting the runners through this madness it was the walkers turn. Can I apologise to anyone who did not enjoy the trail we try to make it good for everyone but we can not please everyone every time, trust me we do try. Having said that I personally had a great time sliding my way around the trail the trouble is I would do that on the best of trails as I need new shoes. Yes all my tread has gone so look out next week I think / hope that they arrive.
One thing that everyone must have agreed on was the location and bar. It was a fantastic location with a well run bar by great people. Just another example of why you must come hashing in Grenada. You get to the places that other groups on the island don't reach.
Well done Crisis for a great hash.
Yesterday once again the numbers were swelled by visitors to the island. It is always good to meet visitors and we hope your stay is enhanced by the hashing experience. Talking of visitors we are getting ever near April and that means that it will not be long before we welcome fellow hashers from all over the world to the Isle of Spice for the Inter Caribbean Hash.
A meeting will take place later this month and any volunteers who have time to spare will be most welcome. Next week the hare is Matt Fideler. After the great start to the year he has a lot to live up to but I think he is up to it. He has chosen a great place again in St Andrew but just north of Grenville this time at a place close to La Filette.
I look forward as ever to seeing you all next week in the mean time have a great week. ON ON
